EarthLink Business does not publish a transfer PIN process. Call support at 844-356-5249, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, and ask for a port-out PIN or account passcode for the number you want to move.

Earthlink Business customer service rep was unwilling to provide porting instructions or comment on any service that the company does (or does not) offer.
EarthLink, a division of Windstream, does not appear to offer wireless service. EarthLink Business would not provide further detail.

Can I keep my phone number when I leave EarthLink Business?
Yes. Federal number portability rules let you take a working number to a new carrier. EarthLink Business cannot refuse the transfer or charge you to release the number.
Should I cancel EarthLink Business before I port my number out?
No. Cancel first and the number is released, which ends your right to move it. Keep the EarthLink Business line active until the new carrier confirms the port completed.
How long does a port out from EarthLink Business take?
Wireline and VoIP transfers run longer than wireless. Plan on a few business days once EarthLink Business has validated the account number and PIN.
