Account Number
Click the Port Out Your Number tab to view your account number which is your phone number and your passcode which is your phone’s 6-digit MSL code.
Transfer PIN
Ask for the transfer PIN in the same call. RingPlus issues the account number and the PIN together.

RingPlus Porting Instructions
Login to your RingPlus dashboard. Click the name of the account you wish to port out. On left, click Porting Your Phone Number under Device. Click the Port Out Your Number tab to view your account number which is your phone number and your passcode which is your phone’s 6-digit MSL code.

Check coverage before you port
We have not confirmed which national network RingPlus uses, and we do not guess. Ask them before you port, then check that network’s map: Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T.
Your right to keep the number is federal, not a carrier policy. The rule is the FCC’s: Portability: Keeping Your Phone Number When Changing Service Providers.

Questions about RingPlus
Can I keep my phone number when I leave RingPlus?
Yes. Federal number portability rules let you take a working number to a new carrier. RingPlus cannot refuse the transfer or charge you to release the number.
Should I cancel RingPlus before I port my number out?
No. Cancel first and the number is released, which ends your right to move it. Keep the RingPlus line active until the new carrier confirms the port completed.
How long does a port out from RingPlus take?
A simple wireless transfer usually completes within one business day once the new carrier submits the correct RingPlus account number and transfer PIN.
Does RingPlus run on its own towers?
Not confirmed. RingPlus has not published which host network carries its traffic.
Does RingPlus charge a fee to release my number?
No. A carrier cannot bill you for porting a number out. You may still owe a final bill or an unpaid device balance, and that is separate from the transfer itself.
What happens if the RingPlus account number is wrong?
The port request is rejected and the new carrier resubmits it. The number stays on RingPlus in the meantime, so nothing is lost — it only costs time.
