Best Cellular is operated by Assertive Holdings, LLC. This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be impossible to read.
What Best Cellular is
Best Cellular is an information site. We publish carrier account number lookups, transfer PIN requirements, port-out instructions, device information, and buying guides.
We are not a wireless carrier. We do not sell wireless service, activate phones, take payments, or operate retail stores. We do not ask you for a Social Security number, a date of birth, or a payment card, because we have no reason to.
Information you give us
You only give us information if you choose to. That happens when you:
- Submit a contact or support form
- Subscribe to an email list
In those cases we receive what you typed, typically a name, an email address, and your message. We use it to answer you. We do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our servers log requests. Those logs can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you viewed, and the time of the request. Logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
We also use small files stored in your browser, commonly called cookies, along with similar technologies. They are used to remember display preferences, to measure which pages are useful, and to attribute affiliate referrals.
Affiliate links and referral tracking
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer sets its own tracking so it can credit the referral if you buy. That tracking belongs to the retailer, not to us. We see aggregate commission reports. We do not see your name, your address, or your payment details.

Analytics
We use web analytics to understand which pages people find useful and where they run into trouble. Analytics providers process this data on our behalf and may set their own identifiers. We look at it in aggregate. We are not trying to identify you personally, and we have no interest in doing so.
Advertising
This site may display advertising. Ad networks and their partners may use identifiers to limit repeat ads and to measure performance. We do not control what third-party ad networks collect. Their policies govern their own data.

Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information.
We share information with service providers who operate parts of this site for us, including hosting, security and content delivery, email delivery, analytics, and advertising. They may only use it to perform that service.
We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Assertive Holdings, LLC.
How long we keep it
Server and security logs are kept for a limited period and then rotated out. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to handle the request and keep a record of it. Email list subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Block or delete browser storage through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may stop working normally if you do.
- Use your browser or an extension to send a Global Privacy Control signal. We honor it where it applies.
- Unsubscribe from any email we send, using the link in that email.
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, or in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Submit a request through the contact method below and we will respond within the time your law requires.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Links to other sites
We link to carriers, retailers, and other third parties. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies govern, not ours. Read them.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site after that means you accept the updated policy.

Who else receives data when you load a page
A few services outside this site are contacted by your browser when a page loads, which means they see your IP address and the page you requested:
- Cloudflare — serves and protects this site, and provides page-view counts. Its analytics do not use cookies and do not track you across other sites.
- Google — supplies web fonts and a JavaScript library used by the site’s layout.
- Affiliate networks and retailers — only when you click an affiliate link, and only then.
There is no Google Analytics property on this site and no social media tracking script. A Facebook Messenger chat widget left over from the wireless business was removed on September 20, 2026 and no longer loads on any page.
There is no advertising network code on this site. Media.net ad tags, embedded years ago in a legacy page template, were removed on September 20, 2026. They no longer load on any page.
Comments are disabled everywhere on this site, so there is no comment form to collect a name, email address or IP address.
