T-Mobile new plans: what was announced

T-Mobile announced the T-Mix lineup in a press release on Business Wire on October 26, 2026. The release confirms three tiers and a new “Picks” system. It says the plans are “available in November.” It does not give an exact launch date.

T-Mobile new plans prices and Picks

All prices are for one line, with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees. Prices and Picks come from T-Mobile’s release.

Plan 1 line Picks Data and hotspot (as reported)
T-Mix Standard $55/mo 1 50GB premium data
T-Mix More $75/mo 2 Unlimited premium data, 60GB hotspot
T-Mix Loaded $95/mo 3 250GB hotspot, more travel benefits

The data and hotspot column comes from PhoneArena’s launch coverage. T-Mobile’s release does not list it. T-Mobile also did not publish full multi-line prices. GeekWire reports a family of three on Loaded pays $200 a month. Forbes reports Standard at $115 for four lines and Loaded at $240 for four lines.

Discounted T-Mix versions are coming for customers 55 and older, military and veterans, first responders and college students. T-Mobile did not give those prices.

How Picks work on T-Mix

Picks are credits that come with your plan. You get more as you add lines or move up a tier. You spend them on:

  • Partner perks: Apple TV, DashPass, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, SiriusXM, Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, Delta SkyMiles, Google Gemini, Paramount+, Xbox Game Pass and YouTube Premium.
  • Wireless extras: T-Satellite and Optimized Video Calls.
  • Phone deals: device promotions, such as a new phone on us.

The rules, from T-Mobile’s release:

  1. You can change partner Picks four times a year: three change windows plus an “Annual Remix.”
  2. Wireless benefits like T-Satellite can change any time.
  3. Changing a partner perk outside a window may cost a fee.
  4. Unused Picks do not carry over and have no cash value.
  5. Picks only work while your account is on a T-Mix plan in good standing.

GeekWire reports some perks cost more than one Pick. Ad-free Netflix costs 3 and ESPN Unlimited costs 4. An iPhone deal costs 2 Picks and an iPhone Pro deal costs 3, held for the 36-month payment plan. All plans keep T-Mobile member perks such as T-Mobile Tuesdays.

T-Mobile new plans for existing customers

You do not have to move. T-Mobile’s chief marketing officer, Allan Samson, told GeekWire that current customers can switch to T-Mix or keep their plans. He also said:

  • T-Mix has no price guarantee.
  • T-Mobile is dropping its free third line on T-Mix.
  • One- or two-line accounts may pay $5 to $10 less a month. A five-line account may pay $10 to $15 more.

If you already pay for Netflix or another partner service, check your own subscription. T-Mobile’s terms say you may need to manage it to avoid paying twice.

What to do now

  1. Do nothing yet if you are happy. Your current plan stays as it is.
  2. Compare T-Mobile new plans in November. Price your line count on T-Mix against your current bill, including any free line you have today.
  3. Ask about phone credits. If you are paying off a promo phone, ask T-Mobile whether switching plans changes your monthly credits.
  4. Leaving instead? Get your account number and transfer PIN first: T-Mobile Account Number & PIN. If a port is rejected, see Port Out Rejected. For any carrier, use the port-out tool.
