Here is how to get your FreeUp Mobile account number and transfer PIN, and what to do with them when you move your number to another carrier.
Account Number
FreeUp Mobile does not publish where your account number appears. Call the FreeUp call center at (888) 316-0686, open 7 AM to 1 AM Eastern seven days a week, and ask for the account number used for a number transfer. The phone number on the line is not the account number.
Transfer PIN
Ask the same agent for a transfer PIN. FreeUp publishes no self-service path for it in the account area, which covers orders, payments, usage and devices but not porting out. Keep the line active until the new carrier confirms the number has moved.
Which network FreeUp Mobile uses
FreeUp describes its coverage as “America’s most reliable 5G/4G LTE networks,” in the plural, and “the largest and fastest 5G LTE network” without naming a carrier. We do not guess, so this record is classified as host network not recorded until FreeUp publishes it. If you are leaving, dial *#06# for the IMEI and run it through the destination carrier’s compatibility check.
Who runs FreeUp Mobile
FreeUp Mobile sells prepaid unlimited plans with international calling and a free SIM, online only, with a compatibility checker and a bring-your-own-phone path. The site publishes a single call center number and a contact form; it does not name a parent company on the page.

How to port your number away from FreeUp Mobile
- Keep the line active. Do not cancel FreeUp before the port completes.
- Call (888) 316-0686 and ask for your account number and transfer PIN. Say that you are porting the number to another carrier.
- Give the new carrier the account number, the transfer PIN, the zip code on the FreeUp account, and the account holder’s name exactly as FreeUp has it.
- Wait for the new SIM to activate. The FreeUp line ends once the number moves; prepaid balances are not refunded.
Why a FreeUp Mobile port gets rejected
The usual causes are a transfer PIN that was never issued, the phone number submitted as the account number, or a lapsed prepaid plan. Call the center, confirm both details while the line is active, and resubmit.

FreeUp Mobile port-out questions
What network does FreeUp Mobile use?
FreeUp does not name it; it says “America’s most reliable 5G/4G LTE networks.” We record that as not published rather than guessing.
Where do I get the FreeUp account number and transfer PIN?
From the call center at (888) 316-0686, 7 AM to 1 AM Eastern daily. FreeUp publishes no self-service path for them.
Can I keep my number if I leave FreeUp Mobile?
Yes. Federal rules require FreeUp to release it. Keep the line active, get the account number and PIN, and let the new carrier start the port.
Does FreeUp refund an unused plan?
FreeUp sells prepaid plans; time the port near the end of a cycle rather than expecting a refund.
Does BestCellular.com list FreeUp Mobile as an active carrier?
Yes. FreeUp Mobile sells service today, so it counts toward the active total in our carrier dataset.
