Helium Mobile Account Number & PIN: Accurate 2026

Helium Mobile needs an account number and a transfer PIN that only its support team issues, so ask for both before you cancel. It runs on T-Mobile, and Noble Mobile has owned the brand since June 2026.

Here is how to get your Helium Mobile account number and transfer PIN, and what to do with them when you move your number to another carrier.

Account Number

Helium Mobile does not publish where your account number appears. Ask Helium Mobile support for it through the chat in the app or by email, and ask for the transfer PIN in the same message. The app shows your phone number and SIM number under Profile, then My Details, but neither of those is the account number a new carrier needs.

Transfer PIN

Request it from Helium Mobile support at the same time as the account number. Do this before you cancel. Helium Mobile says a cancelled number may not be recoverable, and its own guidance is to port out first and let the cancellation follow.

Port out first, cancel second. Helium Mobile states that if you port out, your service stays active until the number has transferred, and then ends on its own. If you cancel first, you have up to 45 days to move the number before it may be released. Those are Helium Mobile’s own published terms, read October 11, 2026.

Helium Mobile runs on T-Mobile

Helium Mobile describes its coverage as the Helium Mobile Network plus “the nation’s largest 5G network,” without naming it. The network is T-Mobile: Nova Labs announced its wholesale agreement with T-Mobile in September 2022, and the 2026 acquisition notice says Helium Mobile and Noble Mobile “rely on the same nationwide 5G network.” The Helium Mobile Network is a crowd-built layer of Wi-Fi hotspots that carries data where one is in range; your phone number and your calls still live on T-Mobile.

A phone that worked on Helium Mobile is T-Mobile-compatible, so T-Mobile itself and any T-Mobile-based carrier will almost certainly take it. Moving to a carrier on AT&T’s or Verizon’s network is a different question. Check your IMEI against that carrier’s compatible device list before you start the transfer.

Who runs Helium Mobile

Helium Mobile launched in 2023 as the consumer carrier of Nova Labs, the company behind the Helium Network. On June 2, 2026, Nova Labs announced the sale of Helium Mobile to Noble Mobile, the carrier founded by Andrew Yang in 2025. Noble Mobile says it will keep operating the Helium Mobile brand, that customers keep their numbers, SIMs and app, and that the coverage does not change. The Helium Mobile website now states that the service is provided by Affiniti Ventures, Inc., the company behind Noble Mobile, with the Helium Mobile name used under license from Nova Labs. The Zero plan, the free tier, ended on June 11, 2026; the paid Air and Infinity plans continue.

Helium Mobile Contact Info

  • Chat: inside the Helium Mobile app, which is how the company asks to be contacted
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Help center: support.hellohelium.com
  • Phone: Helium Mobile publishes no customer care number. Anyone who calls you claiming to be Helium Mobile support and asks for your PIN is not Helium Mobile.

How to port your number away from Helium Mobile

  1. Keep the line active. Do not cancel in the app yet. A line that is already cancelled can still port for 45 days, but a live line is the safe path.
  2. Message Helium Mobile support from the app or by email and ask for your account number and your transfer PIN. Say that you are porting the number to another carrier.
  3. Give the new carrier three things: the account number, the transfer PIN, and the zip code on your Helium Mobile account. Use the name exactly as it appears on the account.
  4. Wait for the transfer to complete on the new SIM. Helium Mobile says your service stays active until the port goes through and then ends automatically, so there is nothing to cancel afterwards.
  5. Check the app once the port is done. You can still log in after the line ends, and any balance in your Helium Mobile wallet stays accessible.

Why a Helium Mobile port gets rejected

The usual cause is a mismatch between what you typed and what Helium Mobile has on file: a transfer PIN that was never issued, a zip code that differs from the one on the account, or a name spelled differently. Ask support to confirm all three before you resubmit. A number that was cancelled more than 45 days ago may already have been released, and no PIN will recover it.

Helium Mobile port-out questions

What network does Helium Mobile use?

T-Mobile, plus the Helium Mobile Network of Wi-Fi hotspots for data where one is in range. Helium Mobile does not name T-Mobile on its own site; the September 2022 agreement between Nova Labs and T-Mobile is the public record.

Where is my Helium Mobile account number?

Helium Mobile does not publish where it appears. Ask support through the app chat or by email. The phone number and SIM number shown under My Details are not the account number.

Should I cancel Helium Mobile before I port out?

No. Helium Mobile tells customers to port out first. Service stays active until the transfer completes and then ends by itself. A cancelled number has a 45-day window before it may be released.

Does the Noble Mobile purchase change my port-out?

Not as of October 2026. Noble Mobile says customers keep their numbers, SIMs and app, and the Helium Mobile brand continues. The support channels above are still the ones to use.

Does BestCellular.com list Helium Mobile as an active carrier?

Yes. Helium Mobile sells service today, so it counts toward the active total in our carrier dataset, and its line ports from T-Mobile.
