Here is how to get your Cellcom account number and transfer PIN, and what to do with them when you move your number to another carrier.
Account Number
Your Cellcom account number and billing address are on your Cellcom invoice. Give both to your new carrier. Keep your Cellcom number active until the port completes. Questions go to Customer Care at 1-800-236-0055 or 611 from your Cellcom phone.
Transfer PIN
Get your Cellcom transfer PIN by calling 1-800-236-0055, dialing 611 from your Cellcom device, or visiting a Cellcom retail store. Only the Financially Responsible Person or a Level 1 user can request it. Cellcom does not publish the PIN length or expiry.

Cellcom runs on its own network at home and roams on Verizon elsewhere.
Cellcom Porting Instructions
Cellcom said they offer online accounts where you can find your info. You will need account number and PIN to port out. These will be listed on your Cellcom account. You have the option to view account info (including account number and PIN) on a PDF invoice. Account number is on the top of the PDF.
Check coverage before you port
Cellcom owns and operates its own towers inside its home service area, so at home you are on Cellcom’s own network, not a national one. Outside that area your phone roams onto Verizon, which is the coverage that applies when you travel. Check it on Verizon’s own coverage map before you start the transfer.

Questions about Cellcom
Can I keep my phone number when I leave Cellcom?
Yes. Federal number portability rules let you take a working number to a new carrier. Cellcom cannot refuse the transfer or charge you to release the number.
Should I cancel Cellcom before I port my number out?
No. Cancel first and the number is released, which ends your right to move it. Keep the Cellcom line active until the new carrier confirms the port completed.
How long does a port out from Cellcom take?
A simple wireless transfer usually completes within one business day once the new carrier submits the correct Cellcom account number and transfer PIN.
Does Cellcom run on its own towers?
