Fuzion Mobile is gone

Wikipedia’s list of US virtual network operators places Fuzion Mobile in its defunct, merged and acquired table. The row gives an end date of 2013, a host network of AT&T and GSM and UMTS technology. The row cites no reference. On October 14, 2026, fuzionmobile.com showed a domain-for-sale page. BestCellular.com could not confirm that domain was ever the brand’s site.

If you had a Fuzion Mobile line

No source names a carrier that took Fuzion Mobile customers. Lines on the brand would have stopped working when service ended. If your number still works, it now sits with the carrier you moved it to. Ask that carrier for your account number and port-out PIN before you switch again.

The 2013 end date comes from one uncited Wikipedia row, and BestCellular.com found no other source that confirms it.

How Fuzion Mobile ended

  1. 2013: Wikipedia lists 2013 as the end date for Fuzion Mobile on AT&T.

Why it ended

The sources do not say. Wikipedia lists the end date and the host network but gives no cause and no reference. BestCellular.com found no press release, filing or news report about Fuzion Mobile’s launch, owner or closure. Until a dated source turns up, the cause stays open.

How to find who holds an old number now

  1. Check an old bill or payment record. It names the company that billed you last.
  2. Run the number through a carrier lookup tool. It shows the carrier that holds the number today.
  3. Call that carrier and ask for the account number and transfer PIN.
  4. Start the port from the new carrier. Never cancel the old line first.

Your right to keep a number

Number portability is federal law, not a carrier policy. The rule is the FCC’s: Portability: Keeping Your Phone Number When Changing Service Providers.

How we verified this page

BestCellular.com tracks active carriers and defunct ones. We keep both, because people still search for brands that no longer exist. Every fact on this page comes from the sources listed below, and we leave a detail out when no source states it. Where sources disagree, this page says so. If you can document a correction, tell us and we will check it against the sources.

Tracked and active are different counts on this site. This brand counts in our tracked total, not in our active total, so it does not appear in tools built for live carriers.
