Account Number
Troomi does not publish a standing account number field in the parent portal. Request it from Support on (866) 545-4222, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm MST.
Transfer PIN
Troomi does not publish a self-service port-out PIN. Ask Support for the account number and transfer PIN together in the same call, so you are not chasing two things.
Troomi is a kids phone service, and that changes the port-out
Troomi sells a managed Android phone for children with a parent portal that controls apps, contacts and screen time. The line belongs to the parent account, not the child, so the person who opened the account is the only one who can authorize a transfer. Have the account holder make the call.
Because the service is subscription-managed rather than a conventional prepaid or postpaid plan, there is no online port-out screen. Support is the route.
How to port your number away from Troomi
- Call Support at (866) 545-4222 as the account holder, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm MST.
- Ask for the account number and the transfer PIN. Request both in one call and read them back.
- Confirm the billing name and address exactly as Troomi has them. A mismatch here is the single most common port rejection.
- Start the port from the new carrier. Never cancel Troomi first — cancelling releases the number and you lose it permanently.
- Keep the line active until the new carrier confirms the number has moved, then cancel.
Which network does Troomi use?
AT&T, stated by Troomi in its own terms and conditions. A phone that worked on Troomi is AT&T-compatible, so AT&T itself and any AT&T-based carrier will almost certainly take it. Moving to a carrier on T-Mobile’s or Verizon’s network is a different question — check your IMEI against that carrier’s compatible device list first.
The Troomi handset itself is a managed device. Confirm with the new carrier that it will activate an unlocked Troomi phone before you rely on keeping it.

Troomi port-out questions
What network is Troomi on?
AT&T. Troomi states it in its own terms and conditions, so this is the carrier’s published answer rather than an inference.
Can my child authorize the transfer?
No. The line sits on the parent account, so the account holder has to make the request.
Is there a self-service port-out PIN in the parent portal?
Not a published one. Call Support and ask for the account number and transfer PIN together.
Will my Troomi phone work on another carrier?
It is an AT&T-network device, so AT&T-based carriers are the safe bet — but it is a managed handset. Confirm activation with the new carrier before you count on keeping it.
Should I cancel Troomi first?
Never. Cancelling releases the number permanently. Start the port from the new carrier and cancel only after it completes.
What makes a Troomi port fail?
A billing name or address that does not match Troomi’s records exactly, or a transfer PIN read back incorrectly. Confirm both on the call.
