- To port a phone number from TruConnect, you must call their customer service and request transfer to the porting department. (Unfortunately, they do not provide a direct line for porting help.)
- Next, press 1 for English.
- Finally, ask the customer service representative for your account number, PIN, and billing address. These factors must be confirmed with a customer service rep to successfully port a phone number. We recommend verifying capitalization of addresses and reading all numbers back to the customer service representative to ensure accuracy.
(NOTE: It takes about 2 weeks to fully port a phone number from Lifeline accounts.)
Formally known as TruConnect Mobile, TruConnect was also formerly known as Telscape. This company was also known as SureLink before that. “True Connect” supplies government-sponsored Lifeline devices as well as other cellular services. They do not provide a dedicate line for porting inquiries. All porting requests must be handled via their main customer service line. In addition, porting a phone number from TruConnect Mobile can take up to two weeks, so it is necessary to confirm your account is in good standing before submitting a port request.
