Here is how to get your Trump Mobile account number and transfer PIN, and what to do with them when you move your number to another carrier.
Account Number
Trump Mobile does not publish where your account number appears. Call customer care at (888) 878-6745, weekdays 8 AM to 8 PM Central, and ask for the account number used for a number transfer. The phone number on the line is not the account number, and the T1 phone pre-order number is not either.
Transfer PIN
Ask the same agent for a number transfer PIN. Trump Mobile has not published the PIN’s length or how long it stays valid, so request it when you are ready to move and use it promptly. The PIN you set for your online account is not the transfer PIN.
Which network Trump Mobile uses
Trump Mobile launched on June 16, 2025, with a single flagship plan, the 47 Plan, that bundles unlimited talk, text and data with roadside assistance and telehealth. The launch materials say service runs over the networks of all three of the largest US carriers. Trump Mobile does not say which network a given line is assigned to, and its own site describes coverage only as “exceptional 5G coverage coast to coast.” We do not guess, so this record is classified as host network not recorded until Trump Mobile publishes it.
If you are leaving, find the real network first: a Trump Mobile SIM assigned to T-Mobile’s network means a T-Mobile-compatible phone, and so on. Dial *#06# for the IMEI and run it through the destination carrier’s compatibility check.
Who runs Trump Mobile
The service is operated by T1 Mobile LLC, which uses the Trump name under a limited license from DTTM Operations, LLC, the Trump trademark holding company. The Trump Organization announced the service and the companion T1 phone together in June 2025; the phone’s ship date moved from August to September 2025 in the launch period, and the service is sold with US-based, non-automated customer support.

How to port your number away from Trump Mobile
- Keep the line active. Do not cancel the 47 Plan before the port completes; a cancelled number can be released.
- Call (888) 878-6745 during business hours and ask for your account number and a number transfer PIN. Say that you are porting the number to another carrier.
- Give the new carrier the account number, the transfer PIN, the zip code on the Trump Mobile account, and the account holder’s name exactly as Trump Mobile has it.
- Wait for the new SIM to activate. The Trump Mobile line closes once the number moves; confirm there is no further charge.
Why a Trump Mobile port gets rejected
Trump Mobile is a young carrier with heavy call volume, and the common failure is a transfer PIN that was never actually issued or an account number read from the wrong screen. Call back, have the agent confirm both, and resubmit with the name and zip code exactly as they appear on the account.
