MobileX Account Number & PIN: Accurate 2026

MobileX, the usage-based carrier from Mobile X Global, Inc., issues the account number and port-out PIN only through its Xpert support team by chat, phone or email. It runs on Verizon’s network.

Here is how to get your MobileX account number and transfer PIN, and what to do with them when you move your number to another carrier.

Account Number

MobileX does not publish where your account number appears. Ask an Xpert, the name MobileX gives its support agents, through the in-app chat, by phone at 1-833-422-1053, or by email, and request the account number for a number transfer. The phone number on the line is not the account number.

Transfer PIN

Ask the same Xpert for a port-out PIN. MobileX uses that term itself: its own unlock guide tells switchers to “ask your current provider for a port-out PIN,” and the same applies when MobileX is the provider you are leaving. Keep the line active until the port completes.

MobileX is an app-first carrier, so the account lives in the MobileX app. Chat is open seven days a week, 8 AM to midnight Eastern, which is wider than most prepaid brands. Request the account number and port-out PIN in one conversation and write both down before you start the port.

MobileX runs on Verizon

MobileX describes its coverage only as “one of America’s fastest and most reliable 5G networks.” The network is Verizon’s: Verizon announced in 2021 that it would power the Mobile X Global launch, and trade coverage at launch in 2022 recorded the same arrangement. MobileX sells itself as a usage-based carrier that sizes the plan to how much data you actually use rather than a fixed bucket.

A phone that worked on MobileX is Verizon-compatible, so Verizon itself and any Verizon-based carrier will almost certainly take it. Moving to a carrier on AT&T’s or T-Mobile’s network is a different question. Check your IMEI against that carrier’s compatible device list before you start the transfer.

Who runs MobileX

MobileX is a registered trademark of Mobile X Global, Inc., the company that operates the service. International calling on MobileX is provided by a separate company, Elite Telecom, which MobileX names on its own site. The service is sold through the MobileX app and through a dealer network.

MobileX Contact Info

  • Phone: 1-833-422-1053, published as “Call an Xpert”
  • Chat: in the MobileX app and on mymobilex.com, seven days a week from 8 AM to midnight Eastern
  • Email: [email protected]

How to port your number away from MobileX

  1. Keep the line active. Do not cancel MobileX before the port completes.
  2. Contact an Xpert by chat, phone or email and ask for your account number and a port-out PIN. Say that you are transferring the number to another carrier.
  3. Give the new carrier the account number, the port-out PIN, the zip code on the MobileX account, and the account holder’s name exactly as MobileX has it.
  4. Wait for the new SIM to activate. The MobileX line ends once the number moves; check the app so you are not charged for another cycle.

Why a MobileX port gets rejected

The common causes are a port-out PIN that was never issued, the phone number submitted as the account number, or a name that differs from the MobileX account. Ask the Xpert to read back the account number and issue a fresh PIN, then resubmit.

MobileX port-out questions

What network does MobileX use?

Verizon’s. MobileX does not name it on its own site; Verizon’s announcement that it would power the launch is the public record.

Where do I get the MobileX port-out PIN?

From an Xpert by chat, phone at 1-833-422-1053, or email. MobileX publishes no self-service path for it.

Is the MobileX account number my phone number?

No. Ask the Xpert for the account number used for number transfers.

Can I keep my number if I leave MobileX?

Yes. Federal rules require MobileX to release it. Keep the line active, get the account number and PIN, and let the new carrier start the port.

Does BestCellular.com list MobileX as an active carrier?

Yes. MobileX sells service today, so it counts toward the active total in our carrier dataset, and its line ports from Verizon.
