Here is how to get your Slate Mobile account number and transfer PIN, and what to do with them when you move your number to another carrier.

Account Number

Slate Mobile does not publish where your account number appears. Open the 24/7 chat on slate-mobile.com, or call (351) 300-0054 Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 8 PM Eastern, and ask for the account number on file.

Transfer PIN

Ask the same agent for a transfer PIN (also called a number transfer PIN). Slate explains what a new customer needs to bring a number in, but publishes no self-service path for issuing a PIN to a customer who is leaving.

Slate Mobile is the new name for Reach Mobile. reachmobile.com now carries a notice that Reach service ended August 18, 2026 and that customers should switch to Slate to keep their number. If your line was a Reach line, Slate now holds the number, so the steps on this page apply to you.

Which network Slate Mobile uses

Slate says it runs on “America’s best 5G network” and does not name it. Its network-management disclosure, dated June 1, 2026, says only that service is delivered over “a facilities-based provider’s mobile network.” We do not guess, so this page records the network as not published and the chart below counts Slate in the not-recorded group.

Who runs Slate Mobile

The service is provided by That’s My Mobile; the terms of service name the company as Tube Incorporated, doing business as That’s My Mobile. Slate sells three prepaid plans as of October 11, 2026: Light (5 GB) at $20 a month, Solid (30 GB) at $30 and Unlimited (50 GB) at $40, taxes and fees extra. Service activates on eSIM in minutes or on a physical SIM, and the site has an IMEI checker for phones you bring.

How to port your number away from Slate Mobile

  1. Keep the line active. Do not cancel Slate before the port completes, or the number can be lost.
  2. Get the account number and transfer PIN from Slate support by chat, phone or email.
  3. Give the new carrier the account number, the transfer PIN, the zip code on the Slate account and the account holder’s name exactly as Slate has it.
  4. Wait for the new SIM to activate. The Slate line ends once the number lands on the new carrier.

Why a Slate Mobile port gets rejected

The usual causes are a transfer PIN that was never issued, a name or zip code that does not match the Slate account, or a line that was cancelled before the port finished. Former Reach customers who never moved to Slate before August 18, 2026 may find the number already released; a carrier lookup shows who holds it now.

Slate Mobile port-out questions

What network does Slate Mobile use?

Slate does not name it. The site says “America’s best 5G network” and the network disclosure says a facilities-based provider; neither names the carrier, so we record it as not published.

Where do I get the Slate Mobile account number and transfer PIN?

From Slate support: 24/7 chat on slate-mobile.com, (351) 300-0054 on weekdays 10 AM to 8 PM Eastern, or [email protected]. There is no self-service PIN page.

Is Slate Mobile the same as Reach Mobile?

Slate is where Reach Mobile customers were sent. reachmobile.com says Reach service ended August 18, 2026 and that Reach Mobile is now Slate Mobile; the service itself is provided by That’s My Mobile.

Can I keep my number if I leave Slate Mobile?

Yes. Federal rules require Slate to release it. Keep the line active, get the account number and transfer PIN, and start the port from the new carrier.

Does BestCellular.com list Slate Mobile as an active carrier?

Yes. Slate Mobile sells service today, so it counts toward the active total in our carrier dataset. Reach Mobile, the brand it replaced, is listed with the carriers that shut down.
