To port a phone number away from Consolidated Telephone Co you will need to contact customer service to get your account number and password. Consolidated Telephone Co will validate the port request by verifying that not only the account number and password match but the name and address must match the port request as well.

Consumer Cellular

Your Consumer Cellular account number can be found online or by calling Consumer Cellular. It will be a 9 digit number. There is no passcode for Consumer Cellular so you will need to use: 0000 if the carrier you are porting to requires a passcode. The name, address and last-4 numbers of the SSN must match Consumer Cellular’s records. Call Consumer Cellular porting department if you run in to problems.

Offer online accounts where you can find your info. Need account number and PIN to port out – listed on your Cellcom account. Option to view account info (including account number and PIN) on a PDF invoice – account number is on the top of the PDF.

CellNUVO

On 7/20/17, a CellNUVO rep said that, “AT&T services should be coming soon.” – To port a number away from CellNUVO, you will need to contact their customer service department but we are still inable to reach CellNUVO customer service.

Cellular Abroad Does NOT appear to support port requests. Cellular Abroad is a temporary phone number service for International travlers. We have been unable to reach customer service yet but will update this info if we find that they do support port requests.

Cellular One

24 Month contract with a $240 cancelation fee. Everything is handled internally (no dealers!) and all porting is done in-store. The customer service reps don’t know anything about porting and the rep we spoke with said I need to call a dealer to find out more.

Charge

Sprint MVNO: Charge ended operations on June 30th, 2017. If you decide to transfer service and keep your phone number, you will need your porting “account” number and PIN. You can can find this on your Charge account dashboard under the “triple-dot” dropdown menu under the device section. Each device and phone number on your account has a different “account” number and PIN so make sure to get each one if you have more than one active device with the MVNO.
