Broadpoint customer service said they, “do not port in MDNs”. If you really need to port your phone number away from Broadpoint, it is an FCC requirement that they honor the port request. FCC.gov says, “Once you request service from a new company, your old company cannot refuse to port your number, even if you owe money for an outstanding balance or termination fee. Call customer service and press option #2 to speak with Chariton Valley Wireless customer service. Next, press option #0 to speak with the operator. Chariton Valley Wireless customer service will provide your account number and password when you wish to port your number out to another company. This information does not appear to be available on the website.

Choice Wireless

The tech at Choice Wireless said, “The Choice Wireless account number should be on your last invoice. We do not have passwords on accounts.” – Upon further questioning, the Choice Wireless rep said, “Your account number will be given to you when you sign up for an account, or you can call the customer service line to get the account number as well. If the PIN/passcode is wrong, we will refuse a port but we will contact to your current carrier to let them know which information we need updated. It usually is done within 5 minutes of putting in your port reqeust.”
